Social Web Links Plugin
Display beautiful social web profile links on sidebar or on a post/page. Four sizes available, 16×16, 24×24, 32×32 and 48×48. You can also use your custom icons instead of default ones. Now post bookmarking feature added as well.

I would like to download this wordpress plugin but do not know how to get the post bookmarking feature to work.

After installing the plugin, go to settings for social web links. You will see an option for “enable post bookmarking ?”. Enable that and you are all set

Also the icons in my ‘post bookmarking’ are spitting out URLs like this: http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=SHAREPERMALINK&t=SHARETITLE

I have deactivated all my plugins but still get the same thing

Make sure you change the name in all the image size folders and also you will have to go to settings and enter the URL for the changed icon

Hi- I’m having the same problem. What do I change so that SHARETITLE becomes the post’s title? Same with SHAREPERMALINK.

Noticed little bug, concerning skype settings…
For example, if my skype id is “some.thing”, then an url is displayed in the widget, like: “http://some.thing/”

Sweet plugin! Exactly what I needed. You might add the option to have the web links open in a new window instead of the current window, just a design preference some may want over how it works now.

Your update has made some undesirable changes to a perfectly useful and attractive plugin. When we update, it wipes out all of the links already set in the options fields. Also, the settings area is missing the open in a new window option, so now users are directed off of the website when users click the icon. Are you aware of both of these changes in your update?

The options were deleted because, they were implemented in correctly. The site opening in new window will be fixed in next release

Love your plugin: you have the best icons out of any of the similar plugins. I would LOVE to see an email icon and a UStream icon added to the bunch…any possibility of this happening?

Our vimeo thumbnails are missing and are replaced with question marks. Youtube works fine.

The plugin was working perfectly till a few days ago and now my vimeo links not longer work. Did Vimeo update their code are you working on a fix?
